Descriptions of Individual Applications (timed approximately 6-8 weeks apart)
Our granular fertilizer promotes early spring green-up and recovery from winter stresses. We also apply a pre-emergent material designed to protect the lawn against unsightly infestation of crabgrass, foxtail and other annual grasses that arise later in the season.
Early Spring Fertilization and Pre-emergent (March - May)
Our fertilizer helps the grass conserve energy prior to the onset of the hot summer season and a broadleaf weed control is applied to weeds such as dandelions, ground ivy, thistle, and clover.
Spring Fertilization and Broadleaf Weed Control (May - June)
This slow-release granular fertilizer designed for summer heat is applied to help strengthen and recover your lawn from summer stress like drought, heat and lack of rainfall. The goal is to keep the lawn as thick and dense as possible through the summer. We also check your lawn for problems and apply broadleaf weed control to any weeds that are present.
Summer Fertilization and Broadleaf Weed Control (July - August)
Cooler temperatures and more rain speed up plant growth and improve density. This is a perfect time to apply a slow-release fertilizer to build new roots, shoots, tillers, and grass plants. Again, we check your lawn for broadleaf weeds and treat them as necessary.
Early Fall Fertilization and Broadleaf Weed Control (September - October)
Although there is minimal leaf growth in winter, the root system of your lawn remains active. This late fall lawn feeding replenishes the food reserves required for winter survival, keeps your lawn greener longer in the fall and helps it green-up earlier next spring.
Late Fall Fertilization (October - November)
Applications Starting at Only $60-just $300 per year!
